Too much lead in drinking water isn’t just a problem in Flint, Mich.
And in New Jersey, it’s a problem not just confined to Newark, where the school district recently announced that elevated lead readings have been found at 30 schools in its jurisdiction.
Indeed, at least 79 additional New Jersey drinking water systems have been cited for having elevated levels of lead within the past four years, according to state Department of Environmental Protection (see list below).
